Movie Review: Top Animation Movies of 2021


There were some awesome anamatied movies last year in 2021, many that really deserves to shine even more this year. Many of the major studios have put there best efforts foward to deliver qulity, along with a broad spectrum of characters we all can relate to and enjoy watching. We all know that animation films when mentioned sometimes don't get the same respect as other movie mediums (CG animation, and live action) , however I feel that anaimation films have something for everyone especially when it comes to the family kind. Here are a few animation movies worth considering.

•Raya and the Last Dragon - Family/Adventure / March 5, 2021 (USA) ~
(Brief commentary) - A awesome movie for all to watch, It's been said it os not your typical Dysney movie but one to be remembered. What is weaved into the movie is the importance of "Trust"and "Love" One thing that stands out are the visuals which were awesome.

Synopsis
Long ago, in the fantasy world of Kumandra, humans and dragons lived together in harmony. However, when sinister monsters known as the Druun threatened the land, the dragons sacrificed themselves to save humanity. Now, 500 years later, those same monsters have returned, and it's up to a lone warrior to track down the last dragon and stop the Druun for good.

•The Mitchells vs. the Machines - Comedy/Adventure / April 23, 2021 ~
(Brief commentary) - A very funnny and entertaning movie the kids are sure to love. This movie is a story of acceptance and redemption.

Synopsis
Young Katie Mitchell embarks on a road trip with her proud parents, younger brother and beloved dog to start her first year at film school. But their plans to bond as a family soon get interrupted when the world's electronic devices come to life to stage an uprising. With help from two friendly robots, the Mitchells must now come together to save one another -- and the planet -- from the new technological revolution.

•Luca - Fantasy/Comedy / Released ~ June 18, 2021 (USA)
(Brief commentary) - This movie does go in diffrent directions at time by somehow keeps it all together with excellent annation. lastly this movie is one of awareness which highlights prejudice in society.

Synopsis
Set in a beautiful seaside town on the Italian Riviera, the original animated feature is a coming-of-age story about one young boy experiencing an unforgettable summer filled with gelato, pasta and endless scooter rides. Luca shares these adventures with his newfound best friend, but all the fun is threatened by a deeply held secret: he is a sea monster from another world just below the water's surface.
